...don't know what happened, but fortunately the Cedar Key Fire Station is only about a block away...

Fortunately is right...I always wonder what is happening when I see them. I hope this was something easily taken care of.

Looks like you've been back for a few weeks! Don't know how I missed you. Hope you enjoyed your time off. It looks like I have some catching up to do.

Thanks for the kind words. Don't words. I often miss people's blogs too and certainly don't take it personally if someone misses mine.

I appreciate the well-wishes regarding the photos. I debated activating that account for a while. I've sold a few photos (and given out countless digital copies) to various people for various reasons. It was just easier to add the buttons. If I don't sell anything it's fine! Just figured, "what the heck."

As long as the links don't bother people who check out the blog (feel free to let me know if they do) and no one feels I'm hawking my wares, I'll leave 'em up for a while. If not, they'll come down.

p.s. I hope you weren't standing there for too long! Vehicles with lights and sirens tend to be pushy even towards pedestrians (though the gentleman on the right doesn't look concerned).
