How strange these boats seem to me! It's fast though, does it make a lot of noise? I love the marshy like area in the background.

Hi Ciel - these airboats are very prominent in Florida - especially in the Everglades where, because of the airplane motor in the back, they can glide over very low-lying, swampy areas...

Now that is one boat that I would like to ride. Almost nothing between you and the landscape.

Save a seat for me! Do you have one of these, Jacob? Or go out exploring on someone else's?

Hi Brattcat...no, never have had one and have never been on one...but I've know people who use them for fishing in the Everglades and there are a number of operators who take tourists out in the Everglades on large airboats.

Haven't seen one of these since we left Ft. Lauderdale. Hope they don't see gators!

Have you ever been on one of those air boats? Looks like a lot of fun : 0

I wouldn't mind being on one...but wonder how bad they scare wildlife.

I'd love to take a ride on one of those too. I bet they can go pretty fast too.

That looks like so much fun! I've always wondered about being around alligators in one of those, though.
