Dock Street Depot

We have not eaten at this restaurant, but downstairs is a small ice cream parlor with all sorts of goodies. We did partake of some ice cream and enjoyed eating same on the little deck overlooking the water.

Life is tough in Cedar Key.

The restaurant et the edge of sea looks like a great place to relax in the sea breeze.

Cedar key looks like a great place to hang out and un-hasten... This restaurant is one I would pick.

I might have to go there every evening after dinner. What kind of ice cream did you order?

Hi Brattcat - I don't remember what Lois had, but I had some butter pecan...it was yummy!

Mmm. Butter pecan would work. In a cone or a cup? That thing on the water in my shot...it looked a bit like a homemade raft, lit up, with a person sitting, silhouetted to the side. I heard no motor and he didn't appear to be pedaling or paddling so I have no idea how the thing moved. You can almost see him in the terrible grainy-ness. Really a magical moment. And your eyes are no worse than mine, believe me.

Jacob, I come to thank you for the marvellous word "embiggen". I have officially knicked it!! I have seen you use it twice thus far at Brattcat's house and Sean's house. I find it quite delightful!
