Grouper Therapy dock

In Cedar Key, when things get stressful, you can participate in Group(er) Therapy...which means, of course, you take a ride out on the water in a nice vessel to fish for grouper! Here's where you pay your money and catch the boat: A nice WOODEN dock, with flags with WOODen staffs, and even some driftWOOD!

The theme for Feb. 1 is wood! (Please excuse the plastic chairs!)

I 'woodn't' worry about those chairs if I were you. But if you're really upset, you might want to partake in some of this 'group'er therapy yourself.

Those plastic chairs are offensive! ;-))

Nice one, though I wouldn't pay anything for that...

I think there is enough wood there to make up for the plastic chairs Jacob!

Grouper teraphy, I liked the play on words... :)
If one feels like throwing the plastic chairs away, I hope they don't just dump them in the water...
God bless you!

I do like your picture. I forgot the theme day again.

I read your comment about the cowbird and left the following comment under your comment...

Reply to Jacob...

The cowbirds in the picture were originally called Bison Birds as they were first seen in America at the mouths of wandering bison. The bison stirred up great amounts of insects which the birds picked of. And then after 60 million bison were destroyed, the settlers began using cows on the ranges and the bison birds began following the cows and in a generation or two were called cowbirds. The cowbirds lived by following herds. And the female had no time to set on a nest for 14 days and then another 14 days of feeding fledglings so she got the idea of laying an egg in a new nest of another bird and allowing the bird to hatch her bird and feed it. So they are called a parasite bird for this habit but it was a remarkable solution for a nomad bird whose very life depended on moving all day long.
