By the Sea - Handcrafts by Ron and Carol (Cedar Key Seafood Festival)
Carol Wiggins, along with her son, Ron Marks, operates a business called By the Sea, which consists of beautiful handcrafts featuring nautical themes some of which are shown in the above photos. We were delighted to make their acquaintance at the Seafood Festival of last weekend.
They live in Port Richey, Florida, but love Cedar Key and visit the island frequently, and most importantly, they are great fans of this blog.
If you wish more information about these handcrafts, you may contact them via email at: 1228wed@gte.net.

My wife and I love going through all the tents checking out the amazing hand-crafted goodies. I especially like those lighthouses.
Excellent craftmanship. I am glad you got to know them. MB
They are all gorgeous! The lighthouse lamps are charming, but I absolutely adore the gold-embellished white seashells ornaments! They would match one of my Christmas themes perfectly.
They are really creative!I loved those sea shell ornaments!Beautiful art from the wonderful Florida!

How wonderful to find fans of your work in the real world! I love their lighthouses and seashell ornaments.
I think I've never seen so many (mini) lighthouses! Pretty cool!
Now here's some seriously cool stuff! I can't for the life of me figure out if the lighthouse is made of roasted peanuts.
No seafood? Vegetarian? Or vegan?
Just returned home from a night with the Barber of Seville - and the first face I see is...
Life is fun! ;)
Interesting looking duo. They make beautiful items. I especially like the ornaments.
@ Ciel - No seafood. No nothing with eyes. And on her way to vegan. It must be a good thing as she's 70 and looks 40. She still runs 4 miles every other day and keeps slim and trim.
