Cedar Key City Park

Here you will find a small beach for swimming; a gazebo; benches; places to grill food; nice, clean restrooms; a great playground area for the kiddos; and you can rent kayaks also.

It has that "well used" feeling, doesn't it? It must be a favorite for lots of folks. Kind of sleepy and peaceful.

It's funny that I always picture "city parks" in the middle of a city!

This must be such a nice place, I particularly like the idea of the barbecue and restrooms!
God bless you!

Looks like a nice park. Do you use the kayaks?

BTW, Fort Benning has been around for a long time, built in 1918. In fact, I ended up in the deep south because my husband was in the military.

@ Bfarr - Lois has been trying to get me out in a kayak, but I tell her I don't want to get my camera wet...maybe one of these days.

I didn't realize Benning was that old. I'd say your a southerner by marriage! ;-)
