The Rusty Rim & Coconuts

You've seen this place in a number of shots previously, but not from this angle. For years, The Rusty Rim was known as The Captain's Table, and we celebrated anniversaries and birthdays there...

Time changes everything, it is said, and so The Captain's Table is no more. In its place is The Rusty Rim (upstairs) and Coconuts (downstairs). We've not patronized either as yet, but will before long and we'll let you know as to ambiance and food quality.

I'm waiting hungrily. This is a terrific shot, Jacob.

Hmmmmm, don't know if I'd go upstairs, this structure doesn't seem to be very reliable standing there... :)
God bless you!

Beautiful. Reminds me of my son's shed behind his house in Jupiter. LOL But the photo is really nice.

@ Robby - That doesn't sound good, Robby! Funny comment, though! Have a great day!

We tried to eat here this past weekend, the place was practically empty and the service was awful. We got up and left after ten minutes of not being acknowledged, brought a menu, etc, and the people at the next table were complaining amongst themselves about how slow the service was for them. When we left we walked down the street to Frog Landing, which was packed and had great service. I'd stay away from the Rusty Rim, I can only assume they're under some new (bad) management.

@ Webwench - Thanks for your comment. We have eaten at this place in its previous two incarnations...neither were especially good experiences.

Haven't tried Frog Landing...we'll have to do that the next time we drive over.
