The back of the Dock

Another view of the back of the Dock from the new pier. The photo has been given a sketcy/watercolor effect.

It will enlarge if you click on the photo.

We are very busy selling our house and moving to another part of town. If the past couple days are indicative of what lies ahead, I'll probably be able to only post and comment sporadically for the next few weeks. But I will do the best I can because I hate to miss all the great photos of our CDP friends!

Wow, did I miss a post that you were selling and moving? Exciting as it is, it's not much fun. Keep us posted, and in the mean time this is really a neat effect on this photo.

@ Don and Krise - No, you didn't miss anything; I haven't said much because everything was rather up in the air until now.

And, now that I've got a bit of time, I can't get on the portal! Aaargh! So I haven't been able to access your blog this afternoon. But, I shall keep trying!

I'm glad to hear that you were able to sell your home in this housing market. I know we've spoken of it before and how hard it is. All the best with the move. The Villages perhaps?

Good luck with the move. Don't worry about us, we'll be here when you get back. Great shot btw, I really like the effect.

Jacob, the watercolor effect looks AWESOME... I'm gonna have to try that one! And don't you worry about posting & all that while moving, we know how it is & we'll be here when you get back & get settled in! Don't overdo it & be careful - Happy moving!

Interesting shot. the behind the scenes is so different than expected.

Have fun packing and moving. said in jest.
I hope you are having movers do all the work. MB

@ MB - Yes, the movers are doing all the "heavy" work. I hope! 'Tis no fun, though. Except for one thing - getting rid of a lot of stuff we don't really need. That's cleansing in a way!
