The Seabreeze Cupola

I really didn't know what to call this. Cupola seems to fit. I've never seen anyone up there, though.

The Seabreeze is an old-timey restaurant on the Dock...we've been going there for at least 20 years. The food is decent and the view can't be beat.

I guess the weathered look is all part of the culture in the Florida Keys. It is so different and that makes it unique and beautiful. It looks older than the hills.

Perhaps you could ask about going up the next time you dine there. And if they let you up, please take your camera.

This is really interesting and very original! I like the outside stairs too.

I love the old weathered tower but safety might be a concern. It looks a bit rickety. (Insist next time on a tour.)

I don't know, Jacob, this looks like a tinderbox that could go up in flames at any minute. Maybe because those stairs look like a fire escape and this looks like the type of building firemen practice on. Stay safe.

I love this! Cedar Key has some interesting locations, that's for sure.

It looks like the watch tower of an old wooden fort.

Thanks for this picture. We had many, many good dinner here. Do they own another restaurant down the road? We went to Jacobsville yesterday by boat...beautiful, windy, and cold.
