Cedar Key airport in watercolor

It should really be called the Cedar Key landing strip, as there is no airport per se. I had a little fun with this photo by giving it a watercolor effect.

I like it a lot.

Have you ever heard of the Paintbox Pictures? It is a blog with several members, and we take our pictures and use whatever software we have and alter the pictures. There are not many rules...I think about anyone can join.

Really fun effect. It makes you pay attention to the geometry of the shot.

Hi Rose...I have heard of Paintbox Pictures...and I've looked at the blog from your page...appears to be most interesting...

Who knows, I may join up...at the moment, though, I feel a bit overwhelmed with everything else I'm doing...

Thanks for suggesting it!

Oh, Jacob, thanks for this one. My late DH and I used to fly into Cedar Creek and land here. The taxi ride into town was always interesting as the driver wouldn't take any money from us. He'd tell us to pay on the way back.

Who knows? Perhaps he would hold the airplane hostage if we didn't.
