Living the good life in Cedar Key

The folks who live in this house are fortunate for it is a beauty. An older home, to be sure, but well maintained. Notice the large front porch, the metal roof, and the "cupola" on top with a good-sized balcony on which to sit and look at the bay over the roofs of the other homes.

You captured a "My home is my castle" with the feeling of "Make yourself at home!"
Great.

That looks like a dream house in a dream setting. The sort of thing to fantasize about, especially on a damp chill day in New England (which it is not yet but will be over the next few days).

That's really cozy! Does the blue sky always come along with such home?

@ Cezar and Leia - Yes, of course. Except when it rains and when there comes a hurricane.

OOOOOOO (use a British accent here please) this is gorggeous. If I lived there, I suppose I wouldn't have to worry about window cleaning...

Lowell said...

@ cieldequimper - No window washing. The hurricanes do it for you!

I'd buy that postcard. Great shot.

Very pretty house. I like the vegetation in the front of the house. Like Brattcat said, something to fantasize about on a damp New England day.

@ Clueless - Oh, "damp"! I thought you said "damn." ;-))
