I designed one when I was about 8 and was very upset when my dad said we couldn't build it because it wouldn't be seaworthy. Obviously, this one is, so it probably doesn't also have a square bottom.<br /><br />Re: That driftwood in Astoria. It also reminded me of something from the desert, maybe cactus, but obviously this is a tree. It must be pretty old, so who knows where it came from.
