Face in palm tree

We have no clue as to who cut this face in this palm tree, but it has been a fixture on Cedar Key for at least 20 years!

Perhaps it was not carved. Perhaps that is a very bold tree allowing us to see its true face. And what a face. Great capture.

It's an excellent carving, very expressive. I need to plant a palm tree and make a totem!

Okay CQ - if you plant a palm tree and make a totem, I want to see it!

Heck, we just tore out a palm tree; you could have had that one!

Hahaha! Love that! Now I have to find a carver who can do something like that to the coconut tree in front of our house!

Now that is cool, but imagining stumbling home from some bar at night and bumping into that tree! It would be enough to scare anyone half to death.
